New Pickleball Courts at Upper Onondaga Park: Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh opened two new pickleball courts and a state-of-the-art playground at Upper Onondaga Park on Tuesday, marking a significant enhancement to the city’s recreational facilities.

The $500,000 initiative, funded by the City Capital Improvement Program and the NYS Dormitory Authority, saw the transformation of two of the park’s eight tennis courts into dedicated pickleball courts.
