Pickleball Courts at Lake Kennedy Racquet Center: Cape Coral is set to open its newest gem, the Lake Kennedy Racquet Center, on Wednesday. This state-of-the-art facility is geared to become a major hub for pickleball and tennis enthusiasts.

Premier Facilities and Opening Tournament

The Lake Kennedy Racquet Center will feature an impressive array of amenities, including 32 pickleball courts and 12 tennis courts. The grand opening coincides with the United Pickleball State Championship Series, running from August 28 to September 1. This tournament is expected to draw top players from across Florida, marking the center’s debut with high-profile competition.

A Premier Destination for Racquet Sports

Strategically located in Cape Coral, the Lake Kennedy Racquet Center is described as redefining excellence in racquet sports on a state and national level. It is acclaimed as one of Florida’s most expansive outdoor court parks, making it a premier destination for players of all levels.

Memberships and Discounts

In celebration of its opening, the center is offering a 50% discount on all annual memberships for the first year, available for the first two months of operation. After this period, regular rates will apply. Cape Coral residents who are veterans or first responders will receive a 20% discount on memberships, which will be applied indefinitely.

Membership options are as follows (full prices, excluding discounts):

  • Annual Memberships: Individual at $250, Household Couple at $350, Household Family at $500, Junior at $100
  • Semi-Annual Memberships: Individual at $125, Household Couple at $175, Household Family at $250
  • Monthly Memberships: Individual at $25, Household Couple at $35, Household Family at $50

Non-Cape Coral residents will face additional initiation fees: $100 for annual memberships and $50 for semi-annual and monthly memberships.

Additional Offerings

The Lake Kennedy Racquet Center will provide a range of lessons, clinics, and camps for players of all abilities, along with paddle and racquet rentals. A fully stocked pro shop will be available for all tennis and pickleball equipment and apparel needs.
