The Picklr’s Fort Collins Features Top Pickleball Center at Jessup Farm Artisan Village

The Picklr’s Fort Collins Features Top Pickleball Center: A new 10-court indoor pickleball complex is set to be established at Jessup Farm Artisan Village in Fort Collins. The Picklr, a rapidly growing pickleball chain with existing locations in Loveland and plans for up to 19 more across Colorado, has announced its intention to build a 27,000-square-foot facility at this location. This development is slated for completion by late 2025 or early 2026, as confirmed by Chad Preiss, a partner in the local franchise group Colorado Pickleball ADA LLC.

Details of the Project

The planned complex will occupy two of Jessup Farm’s final undeveloped tracts of land, positioned southeast of Moore Animal Hospital and northeast of the village’s main restaurant and shop area. The initial proposal for this 2.4-acre site included two 16,000-square-foot buildings.

However, a new application now suggests a single 27,000-square-foot building for The Picklr, complemented by a smaller 6,000-square-foot structure designated for retail or office use. Jessup Farm Developer Gino Campana expressed enthusiasm about the new project, stating,

“We’ve been waiting to put something special on these last two pads, and we think this is it.” – (Campana)

What to Expect at The Picklr?

The Picklr, known for its membership-based model, will offer reserved court times for one to four players, a private events space, a pro shop, grab-and-go food options, and a selection of beverages. Founding members at the Fort Collins location will benefit from a discounted monthly rate of $109.

The Fort Collins facility will be the fourth Picklr location along the Front Range and the first designed exclusively for pickleball. It will join existing and forthcoming locations in Loveland, Thornton, and Cheyenne. Preiss highlighted that the state is expected to have up to 20 Picklrs in the coming years.

Increasing Pickleball Options in Fort Collins

Currently, Fort Collins boasts eight dedicated outdoor pickleball courts, 44 outdoor multi-use courts striped for pickleball, and up to 12 indoor courts within the city’s parks system. The introduction of The Picklr will expand these options significantly. Campana, who served on the Fort Collins City Council from 2013 to 2017, noted the growing demand for pickleball facilities, stating,

“Pickleball has taken over our community. The demand has increased, and the supply hasn’t increased. It’s a perfect fit (for Jessup Farm).” – (Campana)
