2024 LCDC Fall Pickleball Brawl: A Community Celebration in Longview

The 2024 LCDC Fall Pickleball Brawl is scheduled to take place at Guthrie Park, located at 301 Tupelo Drive, Longview, Texas, from September 14 to September 15, 2024. This event marks the third annual tournament dedicated to benefiting the Longview Child Development Center (LCDC). For over 40 years, LCDC has been a cornerstone in the community, providing educational and childcare services to income-eligible families in a nurturing environment.

Tournament Details

The pickleball tournament will feature a double-elimination format, which may be adjusted to Round Robin based on the number of registrations. The schedule is as follows: Women’s Doubles will be held on Saturday morning, Men’s Doubles on Saturday afternoon, and Mixed Doubles on Sunday, with the start time yet to be determined.

The $50 registration fee (plus a $5 registration fee) covers both events, and each player will receive a towel. Following the success of last year’s silent auction, it will be making a return in 2024.

Registration and Refund Policy

Divisions (Skill/Age Groups) are subject to change depending on registration numbers. Event times are also subject to modification but will adhere to the planned schedule as closely as possible. Registrants are encouraged to sign up early to secure their participation. Refunds will be granted for cancellations made before the registration deadline; however, no refunds will be issued after the deadline.

Venue Information

Guthrie Park will host the event, featuring six outdoor non-covered courts with portable nets. Participants will use Franklin X-40 balls. Parking at the venue is free of charge.
