Peoria’s Peanut Butter Pickleball Tournament: Peoria, IL — On September 19, 2024, Glen Oak Park will host the first-ever Peanut Butter Pickleball Tournament, a unique event combining community, charity, and competition. The tournament will benefit the Midwest Food Bank, with participants and spectators encouraged to donate containers of peanut butter to support local hunger relief efforts.

The event promises fun for all seasoned and novice players, with registration including a guarantee of at least three games, a meal ticket, ice cream from event food trucks, and a swag bag. Glen Oak Park will provide 12 tennis courts adapted for pickleball, with no fees for parking. Though pets and food aren’t allowed, players and spectators can enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere and make an impact by helping fight hunger in Peoria.
