The unLIMBited Foundation is gearing up to host its second annual Pickleball Paddle Palooza on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Lilac Park Pickleball Courts in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This event promises to combine competitive pickleball action with a meaningful cause: all proceeds will benefit children in need of life-changing medical care at the Paley Institute.
The pickleball tournament kicks off at 8:00 AM and will feature men’s and women’s doubles matches across six skill levels, from Open/Pro divisions to 3.9 and below. Players will compete for a host of prizes, including cash, iPads, hotel stays, and spa packages, with awards for the top three finishers in each flight.
In the Open/Pro divisions, the stakes are even higher, with a double-elimination format and a cash prize awaiting the victors. Matches in the main draw will be played as best two out of three games to 11, while the back draw will feature one game to 15.
Beyond the court, every participant will walk away with a swag bag filled with goodies from sponsors like Marriott Resort Singer Island, Universal Orlando Resort, Crayola, and Chicken N Pickle. With prizes ranging from hotel stays to sports gear, the tournament is shaping up to be a can’t-miss event for pickleball enthusiasts of all levels.
But the real winners will be the children served by the unLIMBited Foundation.
