Event Details
Registration opens on January 2, 2025, at 6:00 CST, and closes on February 3, 2025, at 2:15 CST. The registration fee is CAD 60.00. Participants must hold a valid Pickleball Club/Canada Membership and create an account on Pickleball Brackets for participation.
Tournament Structure
The “Winter Smash” will feature skill/age events divided into 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 skill levels. Age brackets include 16-49 and 50+, with events possibly combined or split as needed.
Matches will follow a format of 1 game to 15 points, win by 2. In medal games, the tournament director has the option to switch to a best-of-3 format with games to 11 points, win by 2.
Additional Information
The Gallagher Centre Flexihall allows players to bring their snacks and bagged lunches. However, the snack table will not be provided this year. Food and drinks are available at Soup and Such inside the Gallagher Centre.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available up until February 1, 2025, with a $10 administration fee applied. No refunds will be issued after that date for any reason, including illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances.
