The Lightning Pickleball Club is set to host its highly anticipated March Pickle Madness tournament from March 7-9, 2025, at the Niagara Academy of Tennis in Vineland, Ontario. This exciting event will feature men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles, as well as men’s and women’s singles divisions, with top teams receiving medals and great prizes.

Tournament Overview

The tournament will run for three full days at the Niagara Academy of Tennis, located at 3373 First Ave., Vineland, ON L0R 2E0. The event will follow a round-robin format, with results used to seed teams into a single-elimination medal round. Gold and bronze medal matches will be played, with gold matches in a best-of-three format to 11 points, while all other matches will be played to 15 points with a win-by-2 rule.

Tournament Details

  • Registration Fee: $65 for the first event, and $25 for each additional event.
  • Ball Used: Franklin X-40 Optic Indoor ball.
  • Venue: Niagara Academy of Tennis, offering six indoor pickleball courts with a hardcourt surface and portable nets.
  • Parking: Free parking is available, with overflow parking options provided.
  • Rules: The tournament will follow all IFP/Pickleball Canada rules.

Registration Information

The registration deadline was March 3, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST. Players must complete registration and payment to secure their spot. If a partner fails to register within 5 days, they will be moved to the waitlist.
