Eats n’ Beats Pickleball Tournament: The Westridge Community League is set to host the 2024 Annual Eats n’ Beats Tournament from September 27 to September 29, 2024, at the newly renovated courts located at 505 Wolf Willow Rd, Edmonton, Alberta. This non-sanctioned tournament invites pickleball enthusiasts from the community to join in a weekend of fun and competition.

Friday, September 27, 2024
- Men’s Doubles: Skill levels (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+)
- Women’s Singles: Skill levels and age groups (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+) for ages 12-49, 50-64, and 65+
Saturday, September 28, 2024
- Mixed Doubles: Skill levels (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+) for ages 12-49, 50-64, and 65+
Sunday, September 29, 2024
- Women’s Doubles: Skill levels (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+)
- Men’s Singles: Skill levels and age groups (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+) for ages 12-49, 50-64, and 65+
The tournament director reserves the right to modify or merge events as necessary.
Tournament Format
All events will utilize a Round Robin pool-play format. If there are not enough teams for pool play, a single round-robin bracket will be used. The top two teams from each pool or the top four from the single round-robin will advance to the next round. In the case of three pools, the first and second teams will receive a bye.
- Pool-play matches and all pre-medal matches will consist of one game to 15 points, win by 2.
- Gold medal matches will be best two out of three games to 11 points, win by 2.
Participants are reminded to ensure their player profiles are set to “Receive in-game text messages” to receive notifications and court assignments. Failure to show up on time may result in a forfeit.
Refund Policy
Withdrawals will be accepted until September 15, 2024, at 6 PM for a full refund minus a $15 administration fee. After this date, no refunds will be issued.
Weather Policy
This outdoor event has no makeup date. In the event of inclement weather that requires cancellation of events, refunds will not be provided. If matches are ongoing when weather issues arise, the situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine if play can continue or if winners can be declared.
