The 3rd Annual Lightning Pickleball Club’s PickleBrawl Pickleball Tournament will take place from November 15 to 17, 2024, at the Central West Specialized Developmental Services Gymnasium in Oakville, Ontario. This year’s tournament promises to be the biggest and best yet, featuring a full three-day schedule of exciting pickleball action.
Event Details
The pickleball tournament will include competitions in men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles, as well as men’s singles divisions.
Participants will have the opportunity to win great prizes and medals awarded to the top teams in each division. The entry fee for the first event is $60, with an additional cost of $25 for each subsequent event.
Tournament Format
The pickleball event format will consist of a round robin, where results will seed teams into a single elimination medal round featuring gold and bronze medal matches. Key details of the match format include:
- Gold Medal Matches: Best 2 of 3 games to 11
- All Other Matches: Games played to 15, win by 2
All matches will adhere to the current IFP/Pickleball Canada rules. The official tournament ball will be the Franklin X-26 – Orange.
Registration Process
To secure a spot in the tournament, both players must be fully registered and paid. Each partner has five days to complete their registration; failure to do so will result in being moved to the waitlist. The registration deadline is set for November 15th at 4:30 PM EST.
Refund Policy
- Full Refund minus a $10 cancellation fee is available up to 7 days prior to the event.
- No refunds will be issued within 7 days of the event.
