HISPORTS Pickleball Tour Brings Big Cash Prizes and Big Fun to Vaughan

HISPORTS Pickleball Tour: The HISPORTS Tour, Canada’s only pickleball series with cash payouts at all skill levels, is heading to Vaughan, Ontario, from April 16 to 20, 2025. The event will feature competitive matches on nine dedicated courts, alongside a lively Pickleball Village offering merchandise, food, and entertainment.

The tour stop will take place at HISPORTS PICKLEBALL on Keele Street. Registration for the tournament is now open and runs until April 1, 2025. Entry fees start at CAD 70, with additional costs for specific events, including doubles, singles, and pro categories.

A Premier Tournament for All Levels

The HISPORTS Tour stands out for its inclusivity, offering divisions for players of all skill levels, from 3.0 amateurs to seasoned pros. Age brackets include 19+, 35+, and 50+. Junior players can also compete in newly added Under-18 divisions for girls, boys, and mixed teams.

According to HISPORTS organizers, the tour will award cash prizes and medals in all divisions. Amateur players will compete in a round-robin format leading to a four-team playoff. Pro players will battle in double-elimination matches for a share of the $5,000–$10,000 prize pool.

“We’re proud to create an event that offers something for everyone,” said a HISPORTS spokesperson. “Whether you’re a beginner or an aspiring pro, this tour is your chance to shine.”

Enhancing the Player and Spectator Experience

All participants will receive an exclusive HISPORTS T-shirt with their registration. For spectators, Friday through Sunday will feature thrilling matches between Canada’s top pros.

To further engage the pickleball community, the tournament will host pro-led clinics leading up to the event. A vibrant Pickleball Village will also provide access to top brands like JOOLA and HISPORTS, live music, and refreshments.

Opportunities for Volunteers and Officials

The event is seeking referees and volunteers to assist during the tournament. Referees will be compensated per match, with rates ranging from $7 to $15 based on certification levels.

Organizers emphasized the importance of communication for participants: “Make sure your player profile has text notifications enabled to receive court assignments and updates.”
