The True North Courts Women’s Tournament will take place on January 11, 2025, at True North Courts in London, Ontario. The event is open to women in skill categories of 3.0 and 3.5+, with a special 2.5 round-robin mini-tournament also available.
Registration Details
Registration opens on December 1, 2024, at 8:00 EST and closes on January 8, 2025, at 10:00 EST. The registration cost is CAD 35.00. Participants must have a partner to register, and full payment is required upon registration.
The tournament will not offer refunds for withdrawals less than one week before the event, although full refunds minus a $10 service fee are available for cancellations made earlier.
Tournament Format
The tournament will begin with round robin play, where teams are divided into groups of 4-7, depending on the number of sign-ups. Each team will play a minimum of three games.
After round robin play, teams will be seeded for the knockout stage based on wins and losses, with tiebreakers determined by point differential.
In the knockout rounds, teams will play a single game up to 11 points, win by 2, with the winner advancing to the next round. The finals will feature a best-of-three format for the first and third place games.
Additional Information
All games will be played with Yellow Onix Fuse outdoor balls. Scores will not be uploaded to DUPR for this tournament. The event will be held indoors on concrete courts with portable nets.
