Her talent in the sport led her to participate in the 1999 Canada Winter Games, attend a prep school in Connecticut, and eventually play varsity hockey for the St. Francis Xavier University (St.FX) team. The transition from ice hockey to pickleball was seamless for Candice, who has now been playing the sport for seven years.

As a dedicated member of the South Shore Pickleball Club in Bridgewater, NS, Candice has honed her skills and risen through the ranks of Canadian pickleball. Her hard work paid off at the 2023 Pickleball National Championships in Regina, where she proudly took home several silver medals, solidifying her status as one of the top players in the country.
