NCCP Pickleball Training in Saskatoon: Dates and Details

NCCP Pickleball Training in Saskatoon: The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Pickleball sessions are set to take place at the Uptown Jack’s Pickleball Complex, situated within the Saskatoon Kinsmen/Henk Ruys Soccer Centre, located at 219 Primrose Drive, Saskatoon, SK.

Participants can benefit from a fee subsidy provided by PSI upon successful completion of the program, with an amount to be determined, up to $150. Additional subsidy opportunities may be available through local pickleball clubs. Please ensure you have a current membership with Pickleball Saskatchewan Inc. before registering.

NCCP Level 1

  • Date: September 13, 2024
  • Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (8 hours on court)
  • Cost: $289 plus tax

For those new to pickleball coaching, the Level 1 program provides foundational training. Note that a Pre-course Zoom meeting will be held on September 9th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm to prepare participants for the in-person session.

NCCP Level 2

  • Dates: September 11 and 12, 2024
  • Times: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (16 hours total)
  • Cost: $399 plus tax

This advanced training is designed for those aiming to elevate recreational players’ skills. Eligibility requires participants to be Level 1 certified and to have a tournament rating of 3.5 or higher, as listed on pickleballbrackets.com. If the tournament rating is not met, a Player Skill Demonstration Video can be submitted for consideration.

News in Brief: NCCP Pickleball Training in Saskatoon

The NCCP Pickleball coaching courses are scheduled at Uptown Jack’s Pickleball Complex, Saskatoon, on September 11-13, 2024. The Level 2 course, “Developing Recreational Players,” will be held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on September 11 and 12, costing $399 plus tax.

Participants must be Level 1 certified and have a 3.5 tournament rating or submit a skill demonstration video. The Level 1 course, “Introducing Pickleball,” takes place on September 13 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for $289 plus tax, with a pre-course Zoom meeting on September 9. Subsidies are available upon completion.
