In women’s doubles, Trang Hyunh-McClain and Alejandra Borobia secured a 13-9 win. Although Pune United fought back with a 15-6 win in men’s doubles by William Sobek and Vanshik Kapadia, Katerina Stewart’s 21-9 victory over Brooke Revuelta clinched the championship for Bengaluru.

During an exclusive interview, Atlee Kumar shared his motivation for investing in the team. He spent time in the US, where he discovered the growing popularity of pickleball.
“Priya then suggested that we should form a team if there was a league,”(Atlee Kumar).

When asked about the financial aspects of the sport, Atlee noted,
“I didn’t dive too deep into the financial side of the sport, but one thing I really believe is that Pickleball is going to be the next-generation game.”(Atlee Kumar)
