The World Pickleball Tour (WPT) is set to return to Colorado Springs, Colorado, for the 2025 Colorado Springs Championships from October 24-26, 2025. The event will be held at Peak Pickleball, a state-of-the-art facility featuring 24 courts, where amateur players from across the nation will compete in various skill and age categories.
Tournament Details
The WPT is an amateur-focused pickleball series that hosted 25 events in 2024 and will expand to nearly 35 events in 2025. This event in Colorado Springs is part of the “challenger” tour, where medalists earn the opportunity to compete in the WPT Amateur Invitational Championships for a chance to win a share of the $175,000 cash prize.
Gold, silver, and bronze medalists from previous events can also receive discounts on their Invitational Championship registration fees.
The tournament will feature six guaranteed matches per player, including round robin play followed by bracket competition. Players will compete in several age and skill brackets, ranging from 3.0 to 5.0 and covering age groups from 19+ to 60+. The event is designed to foster competitive play at the grassroots level while offering a memorable experience for all participants.
Event Schedule and Registration
Registration opens on January 1, 2024, and closes on October 19, 2025. The cost for registration is $70, with the price increasing to $80 after October 13, 2025. All players will receive a swag bag containing a DRIFIT t-shirt, nutrition essentials, and other items to enhance their tournament experience.
The pickleball tournament schedule will be posted by October 21, 2025. The events will be held in waves at 8 a.m., 12 p.m., and 4 p.m., with players allowed to enter multiple events if the times do not conflict.
Refund Policy and Venue Information
Refunds are available in the form of credits, with a $30 processing fee deducted from all cancellations. The tournament will be held at Peak Pickleball, located at 1730 Briargate Boulevard in Colorado Springs. No parking fees will be charged at the venue, and the indoor courts will ensure optimal playing conditions, regardless of the weather.
