Tyson McGuffin’s Body Art: One of pickleball’s biggest stars, Tyson McGuffin, is as famous for his tattoos as he is for his dynamic play. Known as “The Most Electrifying Man in Sports,” McGuffin sees tattoos as a form of personal expression and plans to fully cover his body with meaningful designs.

An Artist’s Canvas on the Court
McGuffin’s body is already a gallery of intricate artwork. “I have no idea how many tattoos I have, but I have two sleeves. My chest is done, and my back is halfway done,” McGuffin shared. “I’m actually getting the rest of my back and my legs done soon, so I’ll be fully covered in tattoos.”
For McGuffin, tattoos are not just decoration. “I feel like I’m a big fan of art, and all my tattoos have meanings,” he said. Among his ink are tributes to his family, including tattoos dedicated to his wife, his kids, and both sides of his family. He calls this process “collecting art physically.”

A Silly Start, but Meaningful Plans
Tyson McGuffin’s first tattoo, done at 16, is one he laughs about today. “It’s a T and M, and my brothers have it as well. It’s probably the silliest tattoo that I have,” he admitted. However, it won’t be visible much longer. “When I get my back done, though, I’ll actually be covering it up.”
The new back piece will feature a portrait of inspirational figures who have shaped McGuffin’s career. “I’m doing this whole portrait piece on my back that has inspirational people I’ve kind of followed throughout my whole career,” he explained.
