Pickleball at Kingsport’s Fun Fest: Pickleball enthusiasts in Kingsport are getting ready for the return of the “Pickle in the Park” tournament, a highlight of this year’s Fun Fest at Riverview Park on July 19-20. Organized by the Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department, the event promises competitive action across 11 divisions created for various age groups and skill levels.
Program Administrator Renee Ensor highlighted that pickleball is a versatile sport appealing to participants of various ages and skill levels, mixing aspects of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. She expressed confidence that their upcoming tournament would attract top pickleball talents from the region, all competing for the coveted top prize.

Registration costs $40 per team, with one member required to register and designate their playing partner. Game schedules will be determined based on the selected division, ensuring a dynamic and engaging tournament experience for all the participants and spectators.
