DUPR and TTC Clubs Collaborate to Launch First DUPR Assessment Center in Southern California

DUPR and TTC Clubs Collaborate: DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) has partnered with TTC Clubs to open Southern California’s first official DUPR Assessment Center. Located in Newport Beach and Southern Orange County, this center will provide a structured approach to skill assessment using DUPR’s technology and expert coaching. The initiative launches in April 2025 with a special event for players.

A New Hub for Pickleball Ratings

The partnership allows players of all skill levels to receive accurate DUPR ratings, guided by on-site DUPR-certified coaches. DUPR Coach-Assigned Ratings will offer structured evaluations, expert feedback, and level-based competition.

“This partnership is a major step forward in making accurate pickleball ratings more accessible and actionable for players. TTC is a premier venue with a strong coaching team, and through DUPR Coach, we’re bringing a new level of structure and technology to skill development.” – (Tito Machado, CEO of DUPR)

Advanced Player Development Programs

TTC will offer several DUPR-powered training programs, including:

  • Coach-Assigned DUPR Ratings – Structured evaluations and match play ensure accurate ratings.
  • DUPR Coach Technology – Coaches will assess players, track progress, and use data to guide training.
  • WTP Combine Testing – An optional program for deeper performance analysis and recruitment opportunities.

TTC Founder Sean Bollettieri expressed excitement about the partnership, stating,

“We’ve followed DUPR since day one and watched them grow into the gold standard for pickleball ratings. Their database is the biggest and accuracy is unmatched. This partnership is something we’re incredibly excited about—it will help introduce even more new players to the game and support the broader pickleball community, including PPA, APP, MLP, and beyond.” – (Bollettieri)

Competitive and Recreational Opportunities

With nearly 100 regulation courts, TTC serves as a hub for competitive and recreational pickleball. The new DUPR center will offer structured rating sessions, open play, and expert coaching.

“This is about creating opportunities for everyone in the sport. Whether you’re new to the game or competing at the highest level, DUPR and My DUPR Coach provide the tools to help you track progress, improve, and find the right competition.” – (Katie Nimitz, MyJourney Pickleball president)

Launch Event in April 2025

To celebrate the launch, TTC will host an event featuring:

  • DUPR Rating Sessions
