Andre Agassi Joins Pickleball Legends Tour: American tennis legend Andre Agassi will compete in a pickleball tournament at the Rach Mieu Sports Complex in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday. The event is part of the JOOLA 2025 Pickleball Legends Tour, bringing top pickleball players and former tennis stars to Asia.
The tour will feature exhibitions and clinics in Vietnam and China from Wednesday to Saturday. Alongside Agassi, pickleball professionals Ben Johns, Anna Bright, Tyson McGuffin, Collin Johns, Brooke Buckner, and Chao Yi (Zoey) Wang will also participate.
Agassi’s Excitement for Pickleball in Asia
Agassi, 54, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “Being on the ground in China and Vietnam to share the joy and passion that I feel for pickleball with the community is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.”
A former world No. 1 in tennis, Agassi’s career spanned three decades. He won eight Grand Slam titles and earned an Olympic gold medal in 1996 before retiring in 2006.

After Ho Chi Minh City, the tour will continue in Hanoi on Thursday. Richard Lee, CEO of JOOLA’s parent company, emphasized the company’s goal of growing the sport worldwide.
