This year’s event includes expanded divisions for men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles teams, making it bigger than its inaugural edition.
New Divisions and Registration Details
For the first time, the tournament will feature separate men’s and women’s doubles divisions in addition to mixed doubles. Players can register for $40 per event, with an additional $20 fee to enter a second division. The deadline to sign up is Monday, March 31. Entry fees cover food, T-shirts, and an opportunity to meet Miss Mississippi contestants.
Miss Mississippi Contestants Get Involved
Miss Mississippi hopefuls will be actively participating in the event, both as players and supporters. Miss Capital City Anna Leah Jolly is set to compete, while others will be cheering on participants and volunteering throughout the day.
“Miss Mississippi contestants and Miss Mississippi’s Teen contestants are both volunteering for one or the other. A couple of them will be at both. Miss Mississippi will be at both,” (tournament director Lisa Boleware).
