Meet the Game-Changing Pickleball Gear That Keeps Sweaty Hands in Check

Pickleball Sweat Solution: Wringer Wear, a new pickleball apparel brand, is helping players stay focused on the court by solving a common problem—sweaty hands. Created by Jason Aspes and friends, the gear features built-in towel-like fabric to absorb sweat and has proven effective during testing in Dallas heat.

A Focus Problem Many Players Know Well

Pickleball requires sharp focus, and even small distractions can ruin a game. “The second you lose focus in pickleball, things can spiral,” said Jason Aspes. He started playing in 2020 and quickly ran into the same problem many others face: sweat on his hands made it hard to hold his paddle.

“All I was thinking about on court was ‘Where is my towel for when I need it next?’” Aspes said. He tried overgrips, gels, and powders, but nothing solved the problem. That’s when he and his friends decided to create something new.

How Wringer Wear Works

Wringer Wear uses DRYV, a moisture-wicking system made from two layers of fabric. The inside pulls sweat from the skin. The outside acts like a towel and soaks it up. The technology is built right into the seams of the shorts.

The clothes also use breathable, water-resistant materials and compression designs. Players can dry their hands without having to walk to their bag or the fence for a towel.

Tested on the Court in Tough Conditions

One reviewer tested Wringer Wear during warm afternoons and evenings in Dallas. “The clothes fit well, of course, but the DRYV technology was the game-changer for me,” the reviewer said. They noted how easy it was to dry their hands while staying cool and comfortable.

What This Means for Pickleball Players

With pickleball growing fast in the U.S., Wringer Wear may become a go-to choice for players looking for practical gear. The clothing helps athletes stay focused by keeping hands dry, which can improve play. More players could turn to brands like this for smarter, sport-specific solutions.
