Ryan Reynolds Transforms Hollywood Soundstages into Pickleball Paradise with Warner Bros.

Ryan Reynolds’ Pickleball Empire: Ryan Reynolds has partnered with Warner Bros. to launch “Maximum Effort Pickleball,” a project that will turn unused Hollywood studio stages into themed pickleball courts. The plan is designed to make money during production slowdowns by renting courts and offering VIP experiences to celebrities and fans.

Turning Hollywood Into a Pickleball Hub

The new venture will transform Warner Bros. soundstages into creative pickleball courts inspired by movie genres like sci-fi and noir. Courts will be rented by the hour, and special events such as fan meetups, corporate league nights, and celebrity tournaments are already in the works.

VIP packages will include warm-up sessions narrated by Reynolds himself. In a teaser video, he said, “When life gives you a production slowdown, you build a pickleball empire.”

This project comes as pickleball sees rapid growth in the United States, with a 311% increase over the past three years. The sport has become a favorite among many Hollywood stars.

Celebrities Fuel Pickleball’s Rise

Hollywood is no stranger to the sport. Celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen DeGeneres, Kim Kardashian, and Selena Gomez are all known to play pickleball. Some have taken it a step further by investing in Major League Pickleball (MLP).

Eva Longoria owns the D.C. Pickleball Team, while Heidi Klum holds stakes in multiple MLP franchises, including Chicago Slice. Klum is also joined by high-profile investors such as NBA star Kevin Durant and Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

Entertainment strategist Mia Clarkson said, “It is weird, it is fun, and it might just work. Which also happens to describe Ryan Reynolds perfectly.”

Fans have joked that this new project might delay Deadpool 3, with Reynolds spending too much “court time.”

Pickleball’s Growing Role in Los Angeles

For the public, pickleball courts are already available at Plummer Park and West Hollywood Park, where reservations cost $8 per hour. But “Maximum Effort Pickleball” is expected to raise the bar by mixing sports, showbiz, and business like never before. As the sport continues to grow, this bold project could turn into a long-term entertainment and fitness trend in Tinseltown.
