DUPR Joins Forces with UPA Asia to Launch the Next Generation of Pickleball Stars

DUPR Joins UPA Asia’s Pickleball Program: DUPR has become the Official Ratings Partner for the UPA Asia Pickleball Trailblazers Program, helping monitor player progress across Asia. The new partnership will support 12 young athletes training in the U.S. and aiming to compete in major UPA Asia events during 2025 and 2026.

Rating Growth and Global Goals

DUPR, short for Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating, is known as the most accurate pickleball rating system in the world. It uses match results to measure skill levels and includes over 1 million rated players. It is already trusted by the PPA Tour and Major League Pickleball.

This new role will allow DUPR to track the performance of Asia’s top young players through real-time data. Kimberly Koh, Managing Director of UPA Asia, said:

“Partnering with DUPR gives our Trailblazers a real benchmark for success. It’s not just about winning — it’s about tracking growth and competing on a global scale.” – (Kimberly Koh)

Sharing the Journey With the World

The PPA Tour Asia social media platforms will post two special content series. The first, “DUPR Diary,” will follow rating changes, tournament outcomes, and training goals. The second, “The Universal Language,” will show how DUPR connects players of all levels, from beginners to pros. Tito Machado, CEO of DUPR, said:

Asia is one of the most exciting regions for pickleball right now. We’re proud to help these rising stars measure their progress and connect with the global community through DUPR.” – (Tito Machado)

Helping the Game Grow in Asia

DUPR plays a key role in growing pickleball worldwide. Its platform lets players find matches, join clubs, and enter local tournaments. This helps grow pickleball in many Asian countries by building strong local communities.

The UPA Asia Pickleball Trailblazers Program sends 12 players to the U.S. for three months of training. These athletes will also earn contracts to compete in all UPA Asia events in 2025–2026. The Trailblazers already earned four medals at the recent PPA Challenger in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Looking Ahead

This partnership may boost the development of future stars from Asia. With skill tracking, global exposure, and more opportunities to compete, the region’s best young players now have tools to reach the next level. The UPA-DUPR effort could reshape pickleball’s future across Asia.
