Megan Fudge and Jillian Braverman advanced after beating Shelby Bates and Sofia Sewing in a tight match, winning 11-5, 11-6, 13-11. Anna Leigh Waters and her mother, Leigh Waters, made it to the final after defeating Daria Walczak and Allison Harris 11-2, 9-11, 11-1.
Anna Leigh Waters, just 18 years old, drew attention earlier in the week. She played in mixed doubles with tennis legend Andre Agassi, who was making his first appearance in a pro pickleball event. They won their first match but were eliminated in the Round of 16.
Fudge and Munro to Play for Mixed Doubles Gold
In mixed pro doubles, Megan Fudge and Jack Munro made the final after beating Casey Diamond and Sofia Sewing 11-3, 11-5. Their next match will be against Richard Livornese and Riley Bohnert, who won 11-9, 11-7 over Mark Dancuart and Jillian Braverman.
Fudge Aims for Singles Redemption
Megan Fudge is also competing in the women’s pro singles final. She won silver last year but hopes for gold this time. She advanced by defeating Simone Jardim 11-2, 13-11. In the final, she will face Bobbi Oshiro, who beat Amanda Hendry 11-6, 11-6 in her semifinal.
Men’s Singles Finals Lineup
Christopher Haworth, who also won silver in 2024, will play for the men’s singles title. He beat Ammar Wazir 11-9, 11-2. Grayson Goldin will be his opponent after Goldin defeated Ronan Camron 11-2, 11-6.
In the bronze medal match, Ammar Wazir came back to beat Ronan Camron 4-11, 11-9, 11-4.
Men’s Doubles Title Match Confirmed
In men’s pro doubles, Richard Livornese and Ryler DeHeart made it to the final after a hard-fought win over Brandon Lane and Ben Newell, 11-6, 6-11, 11-7. Jack Munro and Len Yang also reached the final with a 11-6, 7-11, 12-10 victory over Armaan Bhatia and Harsh Mehta.
