Diadem Launches ‘Forever Paddle’: How Warrior BluCore Is Redefining Pickleball Performance

Diadem has introduced a major innovation in pickleball with the launch of the Diadem Warrior BluCore pickleball paddle series. After years of research, the company brought its BluCore technology to the paddles, calling it the biggest change in pickleball since the switch from wooden to composite paddles. The new pickleball paddles come with a lifetime warranty, and testers tried two of the nine models to see how they perform on the court.

What is BluCore Technology?

BluCore is Diadem’s latest pickleball paddle core, made from expanded polypropylene (EPP), a material chosen for its strength and durability. This new core competes with popular foam cores found in many modern pickleball paddles, sometimes called “Gen 3.” Diadem supports BluCore with a lifetime warranty against common core problems like delamination and core crushing.

The company calls BluCore paddles “forever paddles” because of their lasting quality. This technology is part of the updated Warrior pickleball paddle series, which helped build Diadem’s reputation.

Paddle Shapes, Sizes, and Features

The Warrior BluCore pickleball paddles come in nine models, with three different shapes and three core thicknesses. This variety allows players to pick paddles that fit their skill and style of play.

Each paddle’s face combines carbon fiber and Kevlar. The Pro models use a tighter weave to give extra power. Though the paddle surface feels less gritty than some others, BluCore’s design helps increase dwell time—the time the ball stays on the paddle—which improves spin and control.

Testing the Pro 14 and Max 16 Pickleball Paddles

Two paddles were tested: the Diadem Warrior BluCore Pro 14 and the Max 16. The Pro 14 has a longer handle and an elongated shape. It delivers strong power and control, but its thinner core and narrower width mean the sweet spot is smaller. For players who use two-handed backhands and want aggressive play, the Pro 14 is ready to go right out of the box.

The Max 16 features a shorter handle and wider body, which was harder for the tester to control at first. Adding tungsten weight tape to the paddle’s sides and throat helped balance it and improve stability. After this change, the Max 16 had a larger sweet spot and better performance.

Choosing between the two was tough. The Pro 14 felt more natural for the tester’s play style, while the modified Max 16 offered more control and confidence thanks to its wider sweet spot.

Who Should Use the Warrior BluCore Pickleball Paddles?

With nine different options, the Diadem Warrior BluCore pickleball paddles suit many players. Those who want control and a wide sweet spot might prefer the Max series. Players looking for an all-court feel can try the Standard models. For more power and a higher sweet spot, the Pro paddles are best.

The many choices allow players to pick based on handle length, paddle shape, and core thickness. Plus, the lifetime warranty means these paddles should last and perform well for years.

News in Brief: Diadem Warrior BluCore Pickleball Paddle

Diadem’s new Warrior BluCore pickleball paddles offer durability, strong performance, and lifetime warranties. The series includes nine models with varied shapes and core thicknesses. Testing showed the Pro 14 and Max 16 are excellent picks depending on play style, marking a new era in pickleball paddle technology.
