Pickleball Paddles Made in USA: A select group of companies in the United States manufacture pickleball paddles that meet the strict “Made in USA” standard, which means that all or almost all of the materials and final assembly are completed in the U.S. While most paddles on the market are made overseas, these American-made options stand out for their craftsmanship and local sourcing.
What “Made in USA” Means
To label a paddle as “Made in USA,” nearly all parts and the final assembly must happen in the United States. This includes the carbon fiber, polymer cores, grips, and more. Only a small group of pickleball companies meet this high standard.
Paddle Brands Fully or Mostly Made in the USA
Here are the pickleball paddle brands that make their products in America, with many using American-sourced parts:
Avoura – Encinitas, California
Engage – Oxford, Florida
Paddletek – Niles, Michigan
Players Pickleball – Ferndale, Washington
Revolin – Holland, Michigan
Selkirk – Some models made in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
Stafford Paddles – Collierville, Tennessee
Thompson Pickleball – Boyne City, Michigan
TMPR Paddles – Some models made in Buchanan, Michigan
Vulcan – Some models made in Memphis, Tennessee
Whisper Paddles – Memphis, Tennessee
Brands That Use Some Foreign Materials
Some brands, like Vulcan and Whisper, make certain paddle lines in the U.S. but use materials from other countries. Vulcan’s V700 Series and all Whisper paddles are made in America, but it’s unclear how much of their materials are U.S.-sourced.
Brands That Go All-In on U.S. Manufacturing
Some companies go further, not just making paddles in the U.S., but also sourcing nearly all materials domestically.
Avoura – Encinitas, California
Avoura was started by a well-known pickleball family: Jennifer Dawson (a hall-of-fame player), Steve Dawson (a U.S. Open and Canadian champion), and their son Callan Dawson, a current pro. All parts of their paddles are made in the U.S., except the edge guard.

Paddletek – Niles, Michigan
Paddletek has made over a million paddles since 2010. They use high-quality U.S. materials to ensure strong performance.
Curtis Smith, Paddletek President, said, “We make our product in the USA because the quality of materials are better, we can better control the quality, and we can maximize the performance of our paddles.”
He added, “This sport has uplifted not only players but also the hardworking people behind the scenes who build our high-performance paddles right here in Michigan. That’s something we take great pride in.”

Players Pickleball – Ferndale, Washington
Players builds and ships paddles directly from Ferndale, working with local partners for specialized steps.
A representative from the company said, “We’re a small company so when you reach out to us, you’re talking to the same people who build the paddles, the same people who designed them, the same people who know them inside and out and have the callouses to prove it!”
Before starting their brand in 2018, they worked as a contract maker for other companies. “We’ve made a lot of paddles over the years,” they said.

Revolin – Holland, Michigan
Most Revolin paddles are made from U.S. materials and built in Michigan. One unique feature is their use of volcanic fiber.
The company shared, “The raw volcanic rock fiber we have sourced is not made in the USA (unfortunately), and we can’t disclose the exact location for proprietary reasons. But, the processing and conversion of this raw material into our patent-pending LavaFLX™ composite material does happen in the USA.”
This special fiber is light and makes up only about 10% of the paddle’s weight. The rest is U.S.-sourced.

Selkirk – Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
Selkirk makes some models in Idaho: VANGUARD Control (all three), Project 006 Tour, and AMPED Control (all three).
Their work includes:
CNC routing to shape the paddles
Applying the edge guard with U.S. adhesives
Adding their special Infinigrit™ surface
Final grip and cap applications
Stafford Paddles – Collierville, Tennessee
Stafford is a family-owned business making paddles in Tennessee for over 10 years. They also help other brands with product development and manufacturing.

Thompson Pickleball – Boyne City, Michigan
Thompson makes all their paddles in-house, from start to finish. Their carbon fiber comes from Alabama, honeycomb cores from Michigan, and butt caps are made with 3D printers. They own their factory and equipment, which helps keep full control over the process.

TMPR Paddles – Buchanan, Michigan
TMPR makes all of its Luxe and LT lines in Michigan. All parts are U.S.-sourced except the grips. Their latest paddle, the Nimbus, is the only one made fully in China.

Why This Matters
Making paddles in the U.S. means better control over how they are built and what goes into them. It also supports American jobs and ensures high quality. Though most paddles are made overseas, these companies show that top-level pickleball gear can be made right here at home.
News in Brief: Pickleball Paddles Made in USA
Only a few pickleball paddle brands make their products fully or mostly in the United States. Brands like Paddletek, Engage, Avoura, and Thompson Pickleball lead the way in American sourcing and manufacturing. This supports better quality control and helps keep jobs and innovation within the country.
