Based in New York City, Dr. Vikram Ravoory discovered pickleball nearly two years ago during a pop-up event hosted by City Pickle in Hudson Yards. A former tennis athlete, he was encouraged to try the sport more seriously by the event’s CEO. Since then, he has made pickleball a key part of his daily routine.

Dr. Vikram Ravoory believes staying active outside of work is important.
“I believe having interests and hobbies outside work is really important. I don’t often talk about dentistry outside of the office, so I make an effort to pursue other passions like social media, sports, and business ventures. “I think pickleball is a great way to meet people and also have a social activity that doesn’t involve spending too much money, While I was in NYC, playing regular organized sports was hard or super expensive so I started to play more pickleball—it’s become so accessible with courts popping up everywhere, and it gives me that competitive edge I miss from tennis.”-(Dr. Vikram Ravoory)
