He explained that this shot works well because left-side players are usually ready to attack from the middle and are often not prepared for shots to their back corner.
Ignatowich shared that the key is not necessarily to hit the shot hard but to disguise the direction.

“It’s key to get down with your left leg to get under the ball to get a lot of top spin,” (James Ignatowich).

“Maybe also sometimes go to the middle. If you’re always going to the same spot, then it can be a little predictable,” (James Ignatowich).
