Federico Staksrud Adidas Partnership Split: Federico Staksrud has officially ended his partnership with adidas Pickleball. The announcement came Monday morning, just five months after the two sides joined forces. In a social media post, Federico Staksrud said the decision was mutual and thanked adidas for their support and effort during the collaboration.
A Short-Lived Partnership
Federico Staksrud joined adidas Pickleball earlier this year after leaving JOOLA, where he played for two and a half years. His move to adidas was seen as a major step in his career. However, the partnership didn’t last long.
In his post, Federico Staksrud shared the following message:
“After careful consideration, Adidas and I have decided to mutually conclude our partnership. The team put in incredible effort, working closely with me to create paddles designed for my game. I’m grateful for their professionalism, dedication, and trust. Thank you to everyone at Adidas—I look forward to seeing how they continue to grow the sport.” – Federico Staksrud
Gear Switches Raised Questions
Although Federico Staksrud started with adidas paddles, he only used one in a single PPA Tour event. That event was earlier in the season. By February, at the Carvana Mesa Cup, he had returned to using a JOOLA paddle while still wearing adidas clothing.
This change continued until the Select Medical Orange County Cup, where Federico Staksrud appeared wearing JOOLA apparel instead of adidas gear.
Now, his latest statement clears up the reason behind the shift.

Future Still Unclear
Federico Staksrud has not announced a new sponsorship yet. But as the current top-ranked men’s singles player on the PPA Tour, he is expected to attract strong interest from other brands.
Many fans and companies will be watching to see where he signs next, especially as the pickleball world continues to grow.

Federico Staksrud and adidas Pickleball have ended their partnership just five months after joining forces. Staksrud used an adidas paddle only once before switching back to JOOLA gear. He has not announced a new brand yet, but his top ranking on the PPA Tour makes him a valuable free agent.
