Why ‘The Bachelorette’ Star Hannah Brown Swears Pickleball Is the Secret to a Stronger Relationship

The Bachelorette Pickleball Date Trend: Former “The Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown has found a new way to connect with her fiancé, Adam Woolard: playing pickleball together. In a recent interview, Hannah Brown shared how their regular Tuesday pickleball date nights brought them closer and inspired her to suggest the sport as a fun way for couples to bond.

Hannah Brown opened up while promoting her romance novel, “The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain.” She explained how playing pickleball has added joy and healthy competition to her life after her time on reality TV.

Pickleball Strengthened Their Relationship

“Every Tuesday was our pickleball date night and it was such a connecting thing for us and to have fun,” said Hannah Brown.

She added that Adam Woolard’s supportive attitude makes him the perfect partner on and off the court.

“Adam is so encouraging and he’s good at sports, so it’s great to be on his team because he can jump in for the things I’m not the best at. He’s also good at allowing me to take my shots and get better and improve. We’re just a really good team in life and in pickleball,” explained Hannah Brown. “He’s really optimistic, too, and he’s not a sore loser or winner. He’s patient, and even when he messes up a shot, he can joke and laugh about it.”

Pickleball at Their Parties

While planning their wedding and working on her book, Hannah Brown and Adam Woolard have been busy. Still, they managed to fit pickleball into their bachelor and bachelorette parties.

“Both Adam and I had our bachelor and bachelorette parties on the same weekend and we both played pickleball,” confirmed Hannah Brown.

During her party, many friends were new to pickleball.

“A lot of my friends hadn’t played, so we had two different courts so they could work with the instructor. I played with the girls who’ve played before, so we could play a few games.”

She even wore a pink athletic dress and used custom paddles for the event.

“Pickleball was great because when you’re on a vacation or having a bachelorette weekend, you’re not prioritizing getting your movement in,” mentioned Hannah Brown. “It was a blast to get a little workout in, then go lay out on the beach after.”

Hope for More Pickleball on TV

Although she didn’t have a pickleball date during her season, Hannah Brown is excited that the sport has made it onto “The Bachelor” franchise.

In “The Golden Bachelor,” contestants went on a pickleball date.

“Because pickleball is so community based, there can be a lot of flirtation on the court and around the court. My favorite kind of dates are when you’re actually interacting and learning an activity together, and pickleball is a great way to do that,” said Hannah Brown. “I would suggest anyone to incorporate pickleball into their date rotation.”

She also shared that she’d love a double date with former Bachelor Joey Graziadei and his fiancée Kelsey Anderson.

“Joey would be fun, but he might take it too seriously because he’s a tennis player,” noted Hannah Brown. “Matt James is also one of my good friends, and I would love to see him on the pickleball court.”

News in Brief: The Bachelorette Pickleball Date Trend

Hannah Brown revealed how she and Adam Woolard bonded over pickleball after “The Bachelorette.” She encourages couples to try pickleball dates, praising the sport’s fun and social side. Brown also hopes to see more pickleball on future dating shows, including “The Bachelor.”
