A Short Time with adidas
Before this reunion, Federico Staksrud spent about two and a half years with JOOLA. He left in January to join adidas Pickleball. However, that new partnership did not last. After only one event using adidas paddles, Staksrud went back to his JOOLA paddle. Even though he used the JOOLA paddle, he kept wearing adidas clothing for a while.
A Hint of Change
Last month, during the PPA Orange County Cup, Staksrud stopped wearing adidas gear and switched back to JOOLA clothing. This change showed that he might be planning to end his deal with adidas. Soon after the event, he announced that he was leaving adidas completely.

Ready for MLP New York
Now that he is fully back with JOOLA, Staksrud looks to keep playing at a high level. He is one of only two players, along with Ben Johns, ranked in the top 5 of the PPA standings for men’s singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles. This week, he will join the Orlando Squeeze, who have a 10-5 record and 28 points, at Major League Pickleball New York.
This move could help Federico Staksrud feel more confident on the court. Fans will be watching to see if going back to JOOLA gives him an extra boost in the next tournaments.
