Asia Pickleball University Championship 2025: The Asia Federation of Pickleball is preparing to host the Asia Pickleball University Championship 2025, the first event of its kind for college pickleball in Asia. The tournament will run from July 17 to July 20, 2025, at the Tuyen Son Sport Complex in Da Nang, Vietnam.
This championship will gather student-athletes from universities across Asia. They will compete in singles and doubles matches, aiming to grow the sport at the college level. The event will also be co-organised by Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sport.

Competition Categories and Activities
Players will compete in different age and role-based groups. University students can join Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
Faculty and alumni under 50 can also play in the same five events. Faculty and alumni over 50 will have the same categories.
On July 16, 2025, a referee clinic will be held. This four-hour course will train people to be certified referees. John Ng, who is an Asia Federation of Pickleball Rule Adviser and a USA Pickleball-trained referee, will lead the training. The session will focus on rules, fair play, and skills development.
Golden Tickets to the Collegiate World Championships
A special reward will be given to top performers. The two best teams from the University Team Challenge will each earn a golden ticket.
This golden ticket will secure their place at the Collegiate World Championships in Dallas, Texas. That event will take place from October 31 to November 2, 2025.

The Asia Pickleball University Championship 2025 is backed by sponsors like Zocker, Sypik, JOOLA, and Selkirk Sport. The Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating will also oversee parts of the tournament.
