JOOLA Pickleball Celebration Orlando 2025: The third annual JOOLA Pickleball Celebration will take place from August 29 to September 4, 2025, at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. This week-long event will feature clinics, tournaments, pro exhibitions, and a chance for players of all levels to play and connect with others.
A Full Week of Pickleball Fun
The event includes a team tournament where groups of 3 to 5 players will compete in at least 18 matches. Matches are played across six rounds with three doubles games per round. The tournament is open to players of all skill levels and will group teams based on DUPR ratings.
For younger athletes, there is a juniors-only event for players ages 8 to 18. Saturday will feature an 80s night celebration with a costume contest, games, and a live DJ.
Kristen Bouchard, JOOLA events manager, explained the event’s spirit:
“We have people come from all over the country and other countries as well, and everybody is there for the love of pickleball. The whole concept is to bring together the pickleball community and have it be a celebration of the people who play the sport.”
Pro Clinics and Resort Access Included
Participants will enjoy access to the 4.5-star resort and the chance to join a three-day clinic led by JOOLA pros. Stars like Ben Johns, Anna Bright, and Tyson McGuffin will teach key skills such as dinking, court movement, and live drills. More than 30 JOOLA pro players are expected to attend.
Each year, the event has grown. In 2023, there were about 30 teams. That number doubled in 2024. This year, more than 85 teams have already registered, with some traveling from Brazil and Germany.
Kristen Bouchard shared why so many return:
“If you love playing, we definitely make sure that you get your money’s worth. And we have open play opportunities so you can meet new players outside of your team.”
Community and Global Connections
The event offers more than pickleball. Participants often explore Orlando together, relax at the resort, or bond over meals.
“The event is a great chance to create those connections with people you may not have ever run into in your daily life,”(Kristen Bouchard).
JOOLA also works with Orange County schools, giving students the chance to help run the event. These volunteers assist with registration and setup, and their schools receive donated pickleball gear from JOOLA.
Costs, Value, and What You Get
Registration is $1,399 per team, or about $279 per person for teams of five. Each participant receives a free JOOLA paddle or Pro bag and a T-shirt. Readers using code KITCHEN2025 can get $200 off.
Kristen Bouchard explained the cost:
“We acknowledge it’s an expensive ask, but it’s actually cheaper to come to the celebration and get your new paddle than purchase a paddle online, and you’re getting so much more than that.”
She added,
“You’re getting this whole group of people that also wants to come to Orlando and have a good time, play some pickleball and meet new people that hopefully you’re going to be friends with for a long time.”
