Jelly Roll Pickleball WWE SummerSlam Training: Jelly Roll is now playing pickleball as part of his training for his official debut at WWE SummerSlam this weekend. The rapper and singer hit the court at The Picklr Orlando North while preparing to team up with Randy Orton against Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Focused on Health and Wrestling
Jelly Roll, who is 40 years old, has been open about his weight loss. He once weighed 540 pounds but has lost over 200 pounds through diet and exercise. Adding pickleball to his routine helps him stay active as he gets ready for the big event.
“I wanna be on the cover of Men’s Health by March of 2026,” said Jelly Roll during a past episode of the Dumb Blonde podcast hosted by his wife, Bunnie XO. “That’s my new goal. I want to have one of the biggest transformations.”
Returning to the Ring
Jelly Roll recently played a role in an episode of SmackDown, where he faced off against Logan Paul. That moment helped build excitement for his tag team match at SummerSlam.
“I got fat, like, really, really young,” Jelly Roll said during an interview on the What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon podcast. “I was over 300 pounds coming out of middle school. I’m gonna be under 300 pounds for the first time since middle school the night I walk to that ring at SummerSlam… My goal is for the first time since middle school I will be under 300 pounds. For the first time since I was — we’re talking about literally now 30 years.”
A Different Kind of Training
Playing pickleball is now a new part of Jelly Roll’s fitness plan. The sport helps him stay active and burn calories without putting too much stress on his body. It’s also a fun way to stay motivated as he works toward his goals.
SummerSlam takes place over two days — Saturday and Sunday — and Jelly Roll is expected to play a key role. He and Randy Orton will take on Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre in one of the event’s biggest matches.
