Early challenge in women’s doubles
The Atlanta Bouncers opened strong with a win in women’s doubles. Vivienne David and Victoria DiMuzio edged out Lacy Schneemann and Milan Rane in a tight 12-10 battle, giving Atlanta a 1-0 lead in the match.
It was Milan Rane’s first appearance for the Orlando Squeeze after being traded from the Miami Pickleball Club. Despite the loss, she bounced back strongly in later matches.
Orlando responds with three straight wins
The Orlando Squeeze answered quickly in the men’s doubles match. Federico Staksrud and Dylan Frazier teamed up to defeat Vivienne David and Victoria DiMuzio 11-5, tying the match 1-1.
In the first mixed doubles match, Federico Staksrud and Lacy Schneemann took control early and beat Jaume Martinez Vich and Vivienne David 11-6.
The second mixed doubles match featured Dylan Frazier and Milan Rane against Todd Fought and Victoria DiMuzio. The Orlando pair stayed steady and won 11-8, sealing the overall victory for the team.
