Pickleball Takes Over Campus: Inside the 2025 Collegiate Tailgate Tour’s Game Day Revolution

2025 Collegiate Tailgate Tour Events: This fall, Cracked Media Ventures and Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating are launching the 2025 Collegiate Tailgate Tour. The tour will visit campuses across the country, bringing live pickleball matches, music, and entertainment to college football game days, starting August 6 in Bristol, Tennessee.

Pickleball Meets Game Day Traditions

The 2025 Collegiate Tailgate Tour blends sports, fun, and school spirit. Cracked Media Ventures is partnering with Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating to bring the fast-growing sport of pickleball to college campuses. Each stop will feature interactive courts, live matches, and crowd entertainment.

The goal is to turn traditional game day tailgates into exciting new events filled with music, pickleball, and student participation.

Interactive Matches and Big Names

At every tour stop, two temporary pickleball courts will be set up on campus. Fans will get to watch exhibition matches between college tennis and pickleball teams. Professional pickleball player Alex Crum will also take part, playing alongside student-athletes in some matches.

Many of these games will include exhibition play tied to Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities, giving college players a chance to gain exposure and experience.

Music, Comedy, and Post-Game Fun

After football games end, the excitement will continue. Musical guests, including Alex Crum, will perform for fraternity and sorority audiences. These post-game concerts and comedy acts are designed to extend the tailgate experience into the evening.

Get Rated by Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating

Each event will offer official rating sessions with a certified Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating coach. Both experienced players and newcomers can discover their skill level on-site, preparing them for future leagues and tournaments.

Media, Merch, and Campus Culture

The tour is not just about matches and concerts. Cracked Media Ventures will also involve reality TV stars, comedians, and influencers. Dalton Thieneman will lead the creative team, capturing content through podcasts, photos, and videos.

The event will also support merchandise sales, brand visibility, and stronger links between athletes and fans.
