The Unified World Pickleball Federation (UWPF) announced its first Board of Directors on August 30, 2025, during the International Pickleball Federation’s Annual General Meeting. The seven-member board includes representatives from seven countries, with Asia winning four seats, highlighting the region’s growing role in global pickleball.

Dr. Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen of Malaysia

This marks the first time an international leadership team has been formed for the UWPF.

Farrell Choo Kah Thiam, President of the Malaysia Pickleball Association, praised the appointment of Dr. Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen. He wrote on social media:
