Vacation Experience and Activities
Guests will stay at the five-star New World Hoiana Beach Resort. The trip includes cultural tours, sightseeing, and meals, balanced with pickleball instruction. Participants can enjoy nine or more hours of coaching, pro exhibitions, and skill-based meetup sessions.
The resort features eight permanent pickleball courts—four indoor and four outdoor. Evening social events and group dinners provide opportunities to connect with other guests and the Pickleball Getaways team. English-speaking guides will accompany travellers throughout the trip.
Meet the Co-Founder and Coach
Dekel Bar, a Pickleball Getaways co-founder, will lead instruction on the Vietnam tour. The 32-year-old right-handed player is ranked no. 11 in Men’s Doubles and no. 6 in Mixed Doubles on the PPA Tour. Known as “Big D” by friends including Collin Johns and Ben Johns, he is praised for his power and athleticism.
Pickleball Getaways’ Global Tours
This Vietnam tour is Pickleball Getaways’ first trip in Asia. The agency previously offered vacations in Antigua, Ixtapa and Mayan Riviera in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Spain. Early bookings for Costa Rica tours start in October 2025.
