The Philippines has quickly become one of Asia’s hottest pickleball destinations. Its rising popularity makes the country an ideal setting for this major international event. The GPF Congress will bring together member delegates, federation presidents, and key stakeholders to share strategies and celebrate grassroots progress.
Purpose of the Congress
This will be the second in-person GPF Congress, designed to help the federation connect, reflect, and plan ahead. It will serve as a platform for collaboration and highlight the sport’s rapid expansion worldwide while focusing on unity and strategic governance.
Schedule of Events
Saturday, November 29 – Arrival Day
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: Welcome Session and Cocktails by the pool with informal networking and introductions.
Sunday, November 30 – Congress Day
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Opening session with keynote speech by GPF President Javier Regalado, presentations on grassroots programs, committee updates, and discussions on International Olympic Committee compliance and membership in the Alliance of Independent Recognised Members of Sport (AIMS).
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: Street Pickleball Showcase and Dinner, featuring play at Manila’s historic pickleball site.
Monday, December 1 – Annual General Meeting
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: AGM and 2026 Board Elections.
2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Pickleball Open Play at hotel courts or nearby shopping.
7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: Formal Dinner and Recognition Ceremony.
Tuesday, December 2 – Cultural Excursion
Delegates will enjoy a full-day trip, including a Pagsanjan Falls canoe ride and a visit to the Villa Escudero Cultural Village.
