Pickleball’s Debut at IOREBA: The Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association (IOREBA) has disclosed its new board for the 2024-25 term, with Kurt Kalafsky of Aztec Corp. stepping into the role of president. The induction ceremony was during the association’s annual golf, tennis, and pickleball outing in mid-June.
Alongside Kalafsky, the leadership team includes Lorenzo Lambiase of NAI James E. Hanson as vice president, Bree Marchanda of CRE Solutions LLC as secretary, and James McGuckin of Marcus & Millichap as treasurer. This new board will guide the 97-year-old organization and its over 200 members.
Annual Outing Highlights
Kalafsky highlighted the significance of the annual outing, noting, “Our annual golf outing is an all-day event where our members meet to enjoy a relaxing day of golf, tennis and networking, and this year we added pickleball.” The event, held on June 17 at the Morris County Country Club in Morristown, featured a full day of activities, including golf, tennis, and the newly introduced pickleball.
Looking Ahead
Kalafsky expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming term, stating,
“I am pleased to be able to serve as president of one of the best and strongest commercial real estate organizations in the area. We have a great team of board officers that are dedicated to creating opportunities for members. We have many plans for the upcoming year that include new networking events and opportunities for educational programming.”

The day’s festivities also included putting contests, a networking and dinner reception, awards, a 50/50 drawing, and a raffle giveaway, rounding out a comprehensive day of networking and community building.
