Baird CAPA Cup 2024: A Premier Tournament for CAPA Members

The Baird CAPA Cup 2024 is scheduled for August 16-18 at the McFarland Park Pickleball Courts. This event is designed to offer CAPA members an opportunity to gain tournament experience in a fun, low-pressure environment.

Exclusively for CAPA members, the tournament will feature round-robin play followed by a medal round. The top two finishers from the round-robin will compete for gold and silver, while the third and fourth-place finishers will compete for bronze. This year introduces new events for players aged 70+ and those at the 4.5 skill level or above. Referees will oversee medal games and some round-robin matches, and an action photographer will be present to capture the highlights.

  • Weather: As an outdoor event, weather conditions may lead to modifications or cancellations at the discretion of the Tournament Director. No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to rain.
  • Health & Safety: An AED will be on-site for safety.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds are available for withdrawals made before August 6, with a non-refundable service fee of $5 per event. Those who withdraw without requesting a refund will receive the tournament t-shirt.
