The DUPR Collegiate Nevada Super Regional is set to take place on October 5-6, 2024, at Life Time Green Valley in Henderson, Nevada. Tournament Format
- Format: Team Pickleball with Set Partner Pool Play and Single Elimination Brackets.
- Teams: 4-6 players per team.
- Games: Women’s, Men’s, and Mixed Doubles.
- Group Structure:
- Team Bracket: Teams will play at least three group play games, with top performers advancing to single elimination playoffs. Teams not making the playoffs will participate in a consolation match.
- Challenger Bracket: Colleges can enter doubles teams. Group play on October 5, followed by playoffs on October 6. Teams compete in Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles, and players may not compete in both brackets.
- Team and Challenger Bracket Spots: A maximum of 24 Team Bracket spots and 35 Challenger Bracket spots are available.
Prizes
- Total Prize Pool: $6000
- Team Bracket Awards: $2500 for 1st place, $1250 for 2nd place, $500 for 3rd and 4th places, and $250 for 5th-8th places.
- Challenger Bracket Award: $250 for 1st place
Schedule
- October 5: Group Play Rounds from 10:00 AM to 7 PM.
- October 6: Playoff Rounds from 8 AM to 2 PM.
Eligibility Requirements
- Student Status: Participants must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 college credits at the university they represent.
- Team Composition: Players must be from the same school.
- Geographic Restrictions: None; clubs can participate in multiple Super Regionals.
Scholarship Awards
A total of $6000 will be awarded, with $2500 for 1st place, $1250 for 2nd place, $500 for 3rd and 4th places, and $250 for 5th-8th places in the Team Bracket. The Challenger Bracket winner will receive $250.
