The DUPR Collegiate Texas Super Regional will be held on October 12-13, 2024, at PALA Pickleball in Spring, TX. This tournament will serve as a key preparation event for the Collegiate National Championship, which will take place in Dallas, Texas, three weeks later. With registration open until October 2, 2024, teams are encouraged to secure their spots early.

Tournament Format
- Format: Team Pickleball with Set Partner Pool Play and Single Elimination Brackets.
- Teams: 4-6 players per team
- Games: Women’s, Men’s, and Mixed Doubles
- Group Structure:
- Group Play: Teams will play at least three group play games. The top-performing teams will advance to the single-elimination playoffs.
- Consolation Matches: Teams not advancing to playoffs will compete in consolation matches on Saturday and Sunday against teams of similar strength.
Prizes
- Total Prize Pool: $6000
- Team Bracket Awards:
- $2500 for 1st place
- $1250 for 2nd place
- $500 for 3rd and 4th places
- $250 for 5th-8th places
- Challenger Bracket Award: $250 for 1st place
Challenger Bracket and Additional Information
- Format: Group play on October 12, followed by playoffs on October 13.
- Eligibility: Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles teams; groups may be separated if enough teams register.
- Restrictions:
- Players may participate in either the Team Bracket or the Challenger Bracket, but not both.
- Schools can enter up to two teams in the Team Bracket and as many teams as they want in the Challenger Bracket.
- Maximum of 24 Team Bracket spots.
Schedule
- October 12: Group Play and Quarterfinals from 12 PM to 9:30 PM.
- October 13: Playoffs from 12 PM to 5:30 PM.
Eligibility Requirements
- Student Status: Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 college credits.
- Team Composition: Players must be from the same school.
- Geographic Restrictions: None; clubs can participate in multiple Super Regionals.
Scholarship Awards
Total of $6000 with specific allocations for the Team and Challenger Brackets.
Rules and Regulations
- Bids: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams in the Team Bracket will receive bids to the 2024 Collegiate National Championship. If a team already has a bid, it will be passed to the next deserving team.
- Challenger Bracket: Teams will be separated if enough Women’s Doubles/Mixed Doubles teams register.
