Delta Pickleball Tournament: As the pickleball season heats up, the Delta Recreation Department is excited to announce its annual Delta Pickleball Tournament, set to take place on September 28 and 29 in Delta, Colorado. This two-day event promises high-stakes matches across multiple divisions, catering to all seasoned players and enthusiastic newcomers.
Delta Pickleball Tournament Details
The tournament will feature a range of categories, including Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles, with divisions tailored to various skill levels. The competition will be held at Delta Recreation’s facilities, ensuring an excellent environment for players and spectators.
Saturday, September 28 will see action in several divisions:
- Women’s Doubles 3.0 & Below (Activity # 201513-L1) – 2:00 PM
- Women’s Doubles 3.5 (Activity # 201513-L2) – 4:00 PM
- Women’s Doubles 4.0 (Activity # 201513-L3) – 6:00 PM
- Women’s Doubles 4.5 (Activity # 201513-14) – 8:00 PM
- Men’s Doubles 3.0 & Below (Activity # 201513-15) – 10:00 PM
- Men’s Doubles 3.5 (Activity # 201513-16) – 12:00 PM
- Men’s Doubles 4.0 (Activity # 201513-L7) – 2:00 PM
- Men’s Doubles 4.5 (Activity # 201513-18) – 4:00 PM
Sunday, September 29 will feature Mixed Doubles categories:
- Mixed Doubles 3.0 & Below (Activity # 201513-19) – 12:00 PM
- Mixed Doubles 3.5 (Activity # 201513-191) – 2:00 PM
- Mixed Doubles 4.0 (Activity # 201513-192) – 4:00 PM
- Mixed Doubles 4.5 (Activity # 201513-193) – 6:00 PM
An additional division will also be available over the weekend for those seeking extra competition (Activity # 201513-194) at a fee of $15.
Registration Information
To participate, players must complete the registration form and submit payment by September 28th. Registration is not final until payment is made. Entries should be mailed to the Bill Heddles Recreation Center, located at 531 N. Palmer St., Delta, CO 81416. Alternatively, completed forms can be emailed to Teresa at [email protected] or dropped off at the Bill Heddles Recreation Center.
Participant Release Form
All participants must sign a release form, acknowledging the City of Delta’s non-liability for any injuries or damages incurred during the event. By signing, participants also consent to the use of their images in promotional materials and media.
