Jay Devilliers’ Fundraiser for Wichita Playground: Jay Devilliers, a familiar face in Wichita, Kansas, has embraced his community with open arms. Originally from France, Devilliers has made Wichita his home for over a decade, alongside his wife, Aleksandra. Their commitment to giving back is evident in their latest endeavor: supporting Rainbows United, a local organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs.
Fundraising Effort for a Worthy Cause
Rainbows United is spearheading a project to construct a new turf playground designed to enhance play opportunities for children with special needs. Jay and Aleksandra Devilliers have launched an online fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $30,000 by December 18. This date holds special significance for Jay, as it coincides with his 30th birthday.
“I’ve been truly blessed with the journey I’ve been on this far, and all I would love for my birthday is to make a small difference in someone else’s life,” said Devilliers.

Details of the Playground Project
The new playground will replace slick paving stones outside the Early Care and Education classrooms with a vibrant, rainbow-colored play area. This design includes a gently sloping mound, a tunnel, and a bridge, all covered with impact-absorbing polypropylene turf. The upgraded play area aims to build the development of gross motor, language, communication, behavior, and social-emotional skills in toddlers and preschoolers, promoting better well-being and school readiness.
Any excess funds from the project will be allocated to purchasing new chairs for the classrooms.
Progress and Community Support
Since the launch of the “30 for 30” fundraiser in July, Jay and Aleksandra have already raised over $5,000. For more updates and information on upcoming events to support the cause, check Jay’s official website, X account, and Instagram.
“Wichita is a place that really welcomed us. We talk about the Midwest being one of the most friendly places, and that has been very true for us. We’ve been helped a lot, and this is our way to give back a little bit as well,” said Devilliers.
