The tournament has been dubbed Southeast Asia’s largest international pickleball tournament and is set to revive Vietnam’s fast-growing community of picklers. Introduced to the nation in 2018, the sport witnessed a rise in 2024, with player numbers expanding exponentially compared to late 2023.
Tournament Schedule: Breaking Down the Action
This year’s Open Warrior Cup boasts a comprehensive format featuring 38 categories, ensuring inclusivity and excitement across all levels. Matches will run in two sessions daily, with events progressing sequentially.
Of particular note, the Junior U15 category will command the spotlight in Session 1 on December 15, providing a platform for emerging talent.

With a $50,000 prize pool, the Open Warrior Cup promises high stakes for competitors. The prize distribution highlights include:
- Men’s and Women’s Doubles Pro: 100,000,000 VND per team.
- Men’s and Women’s Singles Pro: 75,000,000 VND per player.
- Mixed Doubles Pro: 83,750,000 VND per team.
