“I fell in love with it immediately. It was fast-paced, fun, and different,”

His athletic background gave him a distinct edge. Quick reflexes from soccer and precision from golf translated well into pickleball, allowing him to compete at a high level.
“Luke’s crossover skills are phenomenal,” noted a coach at the PPA. “He brings a dynamic approach that is rare for someone so young.”
Rapid Growth and New Milestones
Wasson’s dedication paid off as he transitioned to the professional level. In 2023, he signed with the PPA, a major achievement in the sport. He also became a CRBN-sponsored athlete, a partnership providing crucial support for his career.
Currently ranked 44th in the world for singles, 66th for doubles, and 83rd for mixed doubles, Wasson has already played 62 professional matches across 24 tournaments.
