Players can compete in one or more events, with a $5 charge for one event and $10 for two or more events. Participants will receive a swag bag, including a shirt (if registered by May 1), a tournament pin, and a free pass to Pickleball Virginia Beach.
Tournament Format
The tournament will feature a double-elimination format. The winners’ bracket will use a 2-out-of-3 game format, while the losers’ bracket will be a one-game-to-15 format.
The losers’ bracket can still make it to the gold medal match, which adds an exciting twist to the competition. Due to large numbers of players, some brackets may be merged, and smaller brackets might switch to a round-robin format.
Prize Money Breakdown
With a prize pool of $30,000, the tournament will offer substantial rewards. The prize money for each open division will be divided as follows: 50% for the gold winners, 30% for silver, and 20% for bronze. New this year, there will also be prize money for participants aged 50 and above.

The Pouncey Tract venue boasts 24 asphalt courts, with permanent nets and outdoor, non-covered play areas. The tournament will use JOOLA Heleus balls. Parking at the venue is free, and there is no additional fee for spectators or players.
Refund and Weather Policies
There are no refunds for registration. If players withdraw, they will receive a credit for future tournaments, less a $15 fee. As this is an outdoor event, the weather may impact the schedule. If necessary, a makeup day or event credit will be offered, but there are no indoor backup plans.
