The PCYC Grafton Pickleball Tournament will take place from Friday, June 13, to Sunday, June 15, 2025, at PCYC New South Wales Grafton, located at 300 Powell Street in Grafton, New South Wales. The pickleball tournament will be open to all members of Pickleball Australia, including those from Pickleball New South Wales.
The pickleball event will feature three days of matches across singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. Registration is $60 for the first event, with an additional $10 per extra event. Players are allowed to register for a maximum of one event per day, with up to three events in total.
Three Days of Competition
The tournament schedule will start on Friday afternoon with singles matches beginning at 4:00 p.m. Saturday will be dedicated to women’s and men’s doubles matches, while Sunday features mixed doubles events.
All games will be held on seven indoor pickleball courts, giving players a controlled environment to compete regardless of the weather. The tournament followed Pickleball Australia’s official rules, as the event is a sanctioned competition.
Match Format and Experience
Matches will be played in a round robin format. If a group has five or fewer teams, games will be played to 15 points, win by two. For groups with six or more teams, matches will go to 11 points, win by two.
Each player is guaranteed at least three games per event, allowing for a fair and engaging tournament experience. Referees are present for all medal matches. They also help officiate other games when available to keep matches running smoothly and fairly.
